Yesterday was Samhain. I worked in the afternoon, so I didn’t have as much time for my celebration as I wanted to. However, I did manage to do something.
I carved my very first Jack-O-Lantern, and was quite pleased. I had it outside first, while I made pumpkin soup for my Samhain dinner. Then I brought it inside again, so that I could have it on my Samhain altar.
I had a very simple ritual, it lasted for 20-30 minutes. I didn’t do anything special, just the reguar inviting of the elements and the god and goddess. I also did a bit of meditating. I can’t go into details, but it was nice.
